LEAGUE INFORMATION


AMBFHL is elite AAA hockey for females 13-14 years old.  The league started in the 2009-2010 season and is now completing its third year of competition.  There are 5 teams in the North Division and 5 teams in the South Division.

The AMBFHL is a travel league-26 game schedule-with teams traveling throughout Alberta most every weekend (from Grande Prairie to Lethbridge).  It is a feeder league to the AMMFHL (Alberta Major Midget Female Hockey League).  Player registrations are done at local clubs from April-June.  Tryouts are held in August-September of each year in their respective zones.
